reference, weather permitting From Base You'll go like you are going to Waki Town office Turn RIGHT at 4 corners as head towards Otake (Hiroshima). Take a another RIGHT on to Route 2 after you've passed Iwakuni Train station (2nd signal after the round about) You'll travel down Route 2 as it narrows down from 4 lanes to 2. From the stop light where you merge into one lane, the turn for Waki town office will be the 6th signal after that signal, There will be a Mitsui Gas Station on the right you will turn LEFT and go over a green bridge over the train tracks. There will be a 7-11 on the right at the next signal shortly after crossing the bridge keep going past it to the next signal and you will see a Lawson's on the left. Continue down the road through the 3rd traffic signal until the road comes to a T intersection. The road runs parallel to the Oseigawa River. Turn LEFT at the T. Shortly after turning the road will come to a Y intersection which you will want to veer LEFT again away from the river. About 300ft/100m down that road there will be a road on your LEFT heading up. Turn LEFT here and follow this winding road up the mountain. START will be in a small parking lot half way up on the RIGHT. Look for Start Arrows |
