Directions from Base:
Go as you were going to the Kintai Bridge start.
If you know how to get there then
skip to the next directions
Go strait through Four Corners to 3 Corners where
you will turn Left.

Immediately after turning you will turn right
at the signal 50ft/18m from where you just
turned.

You will follow this narrow road over a bridge
crossing the Imazu River where
shortly after crossing the road will end a "T"
intersection with a traffic signal

You follow this road through 2 traffic signals
past a Marukyu supermarket on the
right just
before crossing over railroad tracks.

Immediately after crossing the railroad
tracks you will come to a big intersection
between 2 gas stations where you will turn left but make sure to get into the
right
lane as you will be veering right in a big "Y"
intersection at the next traffic signal
300ft/100m down.
There is a
big blue Netz billboard in middle of
the "Y" and
beneath that there is a white sign on top of a blue one pointing to the Kintai.


You will then travel
down this road
through 3 traffic
signals. At the fourth
traffic signal.
There will be another big "Y"
intersection with a pedestrian overpass crossing
over the whole intersection and a spiral access in the middle. You should
see a
blue sign before reaching the intersection indicating the direction.

Sign 600ft/200m before turn
You will then travel
down this road until it
comes to a "T"
intersection at the end
and the Kintai Bridge
is just off to left in
front of you.
It will be the fourth traffic signal.
You will
turn right at the "T" and travel up
alongside the Nishiki river to the
next traffic signal where there is a bridge crossing over the river just up from
the historic Kintai Bridge.

As you cross the bridge you will
see the parking area where we start
just below on the right.
Continue across the bridge and turn right atthe "T" intersection on the other
side. Follow this road around to the other side of the castle.
About 4km down the road as you start to parallel
right next to the river, the road will turn into a bridge crossing over
the Nishiki River.
Immediately on your left just after the
road is a overgrown park will a dirt mound in the middle of it. There will
be blue sign 10m past the turn



There is a big rice polishing machine "Yanmar"
that looks like an ATM and some soda vending machines.
If you get to a traffic signal or then you've gone to far.
You park along side the park or in a gravel
parking lot down near the end and across from the park if there are any spaces.
Look for start marks from the bridge

Directions from Hiroshima:
Go as you were going to the Kintai Bridge start.
If you know how to get there then

Follow Route 2 into Iwakuni through the downtown
area past the turns for the
City Hall and Police Station you drive buy a McDonalds on your right.
Shortly
after passing it you start to go up a hill where there will be a
KFC on the left
and Sunday Sun and
Jolly Pasta on the right. At the
second traffic signal at
the bottom of the hill you will arrive at a "Y"
intersection with a blue Netz
billboard in the middle. Veer right and follow the directions from base
above
Directions from Tokuyama:
Follow Route 2 into Kuga as you pass the main
intersection there with a
bookstore and an ENOS gas station on your
right you go up a hill and at
the next traffic signal you will veer right onto Route 15 follow this through
3 tunnels. After the 1st tunnel you descend a hill at the 3rd Traffic
signal
right before a ENOS gas station turn Left. This is
Rte 1

Follow this road along a river. It
will narrow shortly after passing through
a small village of houses, Continue down this road along the river about 5km,
and under the Sanyo Expressway. At 2nd Traffic Signal after turning onto
Rte 1 you will turn Right.

There used to be a Yamasaki Convenience Store at the
intersection and just before
will be a blue sign indicating the turn for the Kintai Bridge 5km.

Start is just 100m past this on the Right .


there will be some drink vending machines
and there is a big rice polishing machine "Yanmar"
that looks like an ATM
Park anywhere along side the park or 25m down in
gravel parking lot
